The True Gospel - Welcome
It's All About Jesus
I will also discuss some things pertaining to this evil world and put up resources about it.
Is Christ Divided? There Is ONE Gospel
"Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment." (1 Corinthians 1:10)
What thing are we supposed to speak the same? THE DOCTRINE OF CHRIST! And of course all of the scriptures. There is no way to be of the same mind if we submit ourselves to teachers and prophets who speak of themselves. And indeed there are people appointed as counsellors and teachers in the word but there is ONE head teacher we ought to have, and that is the Holy Ghost. We must prove all things and test the spirits against the word of God. Jesus said that we shall know them by their fruits.
For those reasons I take no part in denominations, manmade theological systems or religious orders, nor do I submit to the headship of any but the Great Shepherd Jesus Christ. There is only ONE truth and ONE way, and that's Jesus. That is to follow His example and keep His words, "He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me:" (John 14:21) If you don't gather with Him, you scatter abroad. There's no in between. The danger of rejecting and disobeying Christ's words is immense as seen in 2 John 1:9 from earlier, and also in John 12:28 which states: "He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day." His warning to us of false prophets, false Christs and wolves in sheep's clothing is being fulfilled big time right now. And He speaks also of the hireling who doesn't truly care for the sheep, so he leaves them when he sees the wolf coming. If anyone has the fear of God in them, they will wisely consider this.
The difficulty of today is not getting our hands on the Bible; the difficulty is sifting through the overflow of men's false gospels and overcomplicated, twisted doctrines. The good news is that if you search for the true God with all your heart, you will find Him, even though the adversary has put innumerous curveballs and stumbling blocks to keep us from knowing Him. But the gates of hell will not prevail over the church of Jesus Christ, (of which there is ONE.) If anyone preaches another gospel to you, let him be accursed. I am merely a vessel, and again, the only teacher is the Holy Spirit of God.
If you believe Jesus and have the Spirit of God, submit to HIM let Him lead you into all truth according to John 14:26, "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you."
REPENT, For The Kingdom of Heaven Is At Hand
God came down to us from heaven in the form of a man, being sinless and upright, to reveal to us who He is and bring us back to Him. This is the message of the gospel, that God, the one who created all of us, loves us so much that He wants to save us from our destructive sin and bring us to Himself that we might know and live with HIM forever.
"... God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them..." (2 Corinthians 5:19)
"This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief." (1 Timothy 1:15)
The true purpose of our being is to know and love our Creator who made all things, and obey Him from the heart. He made us in His own image to reflect His holy and righteous character, and to glorify Him in this. But ever since the fall of mankind, the disobedience of Adam and Eve, sin entered into the world and we are all born separated from God. We are separated from God because of that sin, which is the transgression of His law, and we must understand that He justly requires all sin to be punished. Death is that penalty. "For the wages of sin is death." (Romans 6:23) The only way for us to be reconciled to the Almighty is by His only begotten Son Jesus Christ who is both fully man and fully God. He is God our Creator manifest in the flesh.
He said "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (John 14:6) There are not "many ways to heaven," as you may have heard some say. True faith in Jesus is the only way to life, and all other ways lead to the gates of hell.
He is the only person who ever lived a completely sinless life, and in obedience to the Father He willfully laid down His life to pay the price of all the world's sin. Our worthy punishment is what He took upon Himself as a ransom for our souls, meaning that if we believe in Him, God accepts His suffering in place of ours and will spare us from wrath. He was crucified on a cross, and after He died He was buried for 3 days with His soul going down to the heart of the earth. Then He was raised up to life again in a glorified body by God, seen by hundreds of witnesses before He was taken up to the Father in heaven. And He is alive forevermore. Jesus was delivered for our offences and raised again for our justification, because God truly loves us and does not want anyone to perish, but to be free from sin and have everlasting life. We must repent (turn away) from our sins and surrender ourselves to Christ as LORD, and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, and we shall be saved.
But for every person who refuses to repent and believe in Jesus, they will be sent to everlasting punishment in the lake of fire when the judgement day comes. "And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the tree: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire." -John the Baptist (Matthew 3:10)
Born Again of the Spirit
Once we have true faith we become born again, meaning we become new creatures inwardly with completely new hearts and desires. Christ said that we MUST be born again to see the kingdom of God. We crucify the old man and are spiritually resurrected to LIFE by the Spirit of God, who comes to dwell within us and lead us into all truth. We realize that we are here to serve and glorify God, and that's what sets us apart from everyone else in the world. He adopts us as His beloved children and sanctifies us, which means that He purifies us from sin (which is a lifelong process.) Our duty is to love the Lord our God with all our heart, and with all our soul, and with all our mind. Then we are able to love our neighbor as ourselves. We are to seek the word of God-- desire the sincere milk of the word--and by faith obey everything Jesus taught. In this we'll bear good fruit of God's Spirit, meaning our behavior reflects His attributes. From then on we walk as pilgrims and strangers on this earth.
Obedience to Christ
Genuine faith will produce good works because when we surrender to Jesus, He FREES us from sin. We are no longer slaves to sin. The grace of God transforms our hearts to desire what's good and to hate that which is evil. We understand that God's ways are life, but sin is death. Our sin is why Jesus was crucified for us, we would not want to continue in that very sin He suffered for. Obedience is pleasing to God because His ways are GOOD and we should delight to do them! His law is the law of love, and that's why the scripture says that love fulfills the law. Because when we are obeying His law, we are showing what it truly means to love God and our neighbor.
"For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous." (1 John 5:3)
"Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:" (Hebrews 12:14)
We also must understand that we are saved by God's grace through faith in the cross, not by our works, lest any man should boast. We must not boast or be prideful but give all glory to God, knowing that we are justified (made righteous) only by faith in Christ's blood. In avoiding a self-righteous attitude we do as Christ commanded and say, "We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do."
Jesus also said, "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven." (Matthew 7:21)
"And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be." (Revelation 22:12)
The Return of the King
Jesus will return. His day will come as a thief in the night upon the face of the whole earth, and every eye shall see Him. This is the final judgment where He will separate His sheep from the goats. All people will be bodily resurrected at once, where the followers of God will be resurrected into glorified bodies and the unsaved will be resurrected to damnation. The scripture also tells us that those believers who are presently alive on the earth when He comes will be caught up to Him in the air.
"Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, and shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation." (John 5:28-19)
"But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet." (1 Corinthians 15:23-25)
He will pour out the wrath of God upon the whole world, and it will be burned up.
"But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up." (2 Peter 3:10)
And then He will make all things new.
"Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness." (2 Peter 3:13)
Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
