PREPARE TO MEET YOUR GOD

I bless God for the convicting power of His word. 

When I was an unbeliever I came across a message like the post above prompting me to think about the finality of death and the coming judgement, about standing before God to give account of myself. I knew I was living in vanity and that He was seeing all of it. I didn't know Him as yet, but I knew I needed to find out and draw near to Him. 

We ought not to wait until death is knocking on our door to realize the severity of our lives and what we do, because once it's over there is no return nor erasing the things we had done. Our Maker wants what is good for us, and that is to turn from darkness and filth to be in a relationship with HIM and to know Jesus His Son through whom He reveals Himself to us. There is no greater purpose than to serve the ALMIGHTY who lives forever and loves us more than anyone else. 

John 16:8  

"And when he [the Holy Spirit] is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:"

Hebrews 4:12 -13
