The One True Gospel

God came down to us from heaven in the form of a man, being sinless and upright, to reveal to us who He is and bring us back to Him. This is the message of the gospel, that God, the one who created all of us, loves us so much that He wants to save us from our destructive sin and bring us to Himself so that we might know Him and live with Him forever.

The only way for us to be reconciled to Him is through His only begotten Son Jesus Christ, who is fully man, being born of a virgin, and fully God, conceived of by God's Spirit. He is God our Creator manifest in the flesh. Or in other words, He was revealed to us in human form.
"... God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them..." (2 Corinthians 5:19)

We have all sinned against God in our lives, and Jesus said that everyone who commits sin is the servant of sin. But He came so that we can be freed from sin and the heart problem that causes it, so that we can live as servants of righteousness for Him, both now and for eternity.

He Takes Away the Sin of the World

Because the punishment of our sin is death, the only thing that can redeem us is the sacrifice of another's life. Someone has to pay that debt for us to go free, and that person is Jesus. He allowed Himself to be taken and falsely accused of a crime that would sentence Him to death, and that was the death of the cross. But He never committed any crime or sinned His entire life. He was the only one who could pay the price of our sin because He Himself had no debt to pay, and He did it because He deeply cares for us and wants us to live in the truth. He knowingly, willfully laid down His life for that reason. We are worth so much to Him.

The full atonement for the world's sin was finished when He died on the cross, and after three days of being in the grave He was raised up into a new glorified body. He came back to life. He defeated both sin and death in that He never sinned His whole life, AND He came back from the dead. He did what no other man could do. And now He is ascended into the third heaven by God's throne, praying for us and interceding for us to the Father.

When you believe this truth from your heart, that is the moment you will come alive. By believing that Jesus took your place on the cross to pay for your sins and is now resurrected to life, and by turning away from sin in your heart, God will justify you and take away your sins. As far as the east is from the west He will put them from you. He will make you righteous and resurrect you into spiritual life whereby you will live as a completely new creation. He cleanses you of the iniquity in your heart that caused you to sin in the first place so that you will hate your old ways and love HIS right ways instead. He will give you peace that surpasses ALL understanding, and He will give you His Spirit to dwell with you all the days of your life to guide you into all truth and reveal Himself to you. He will comfort you and be with you at all times, regardless of what you're feeling.

He will give you a completely new heart and new desires so that you will desire to know Him and His word, and so that you will love His good commandments. He will show you how to love Him and how to love the people around you, even when it's very difficult. Because He also loved you while you were a sinner.

Anyone in the whole world can put their faith and trust in Jesus to be saved. As long as there is a breath in your body and you're alive you can be forgiven, and He will receive you. When you become convicted of your sin and come into agreement with God that He and His ways are right, call out to Him to forgive you and make you a new person. Keep your faith in the cross of Jesus Christ and rebuke every thought or temptation of unbelief.

Those Who Reject Jesus Christ

But you must also know this. For every person who hears the gospel but refuses to repent of their sin and believe in Jesus, they will be sent to everlasting punishment in the lake of fire when the judgement day comes. They will perish.

"And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the tree: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire." -John the Baptist (Matthew 3:10)

In the final judgement day, everyone who rejected Christ and His words will be judged by His words:

"And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day." (John 12:47-48)

And the truth is that everyone who rejects Jesus condemns their own selves, because nothing He ever did or said was unrighteous.

"And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil." (John 3:19)

Jesus is that light. Once you have the knowledge of Him you are at a crossroad where you can either go left or right, and you must choose this day whom you will serve. But be it known to you that if you reject Him, you condemn yourself. If you believe in Him, you will be blessed and saved and you can know the amazing love of God. You wouldn't regret it.

Let the Son of God into your heart and He will lead you into the greatest life you could ever live. Not by the world's standards, but by the standards of heaven. There is no greater thing you can do than live for the Most High God.

"This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief." (1 Timothy 1:15)
