Ready To Meet Him? PREPARE TO MEET YOUR GOD (Abide In The True Light)

Image
Abide In The True Light: Ready To Meet Him? : Are you ready to meet God? Would you be ready to meet Him today? Would you be able to stand before Him right now, in all of His holiness, ... PREPARE TO MEET YOUR GOD I bless God for the convicting power of His word.  When I was an unbeliever I came across a message like the post above prompting me to think about the finality of death and the coming judgement, about standing before God to give account of myself. I knew I was living in vanity and that He was seeing all of it. I didn't know Him as yet, but I knew I needed to find out and draw near to Him.  We ought not to wait until death is knocking on our door to realize the severity of our lives and what we do, because once it's over there is no return nor erasing the things we had done. Our Maker wants what is good for us, and that is to turn from darkness and filth to be in a relationship with HIM and to know Jesus His Son through whom He reveals Himself to us. There is no gre...

Problems With Catholicism

Image
A brief overview of problems concerning the Roman Catholic religion. Dead Faith, Dead Works While Catholicism does profess the trinity of God and important aspects of the gospel, it promotes some of the very sins that Jesus died for. It is dangerously contradictory.  “Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.” (James 2:19) It is not enough to merely claim to believe in God and Jesus if that faith is dead. As James also wrote, faith without works is dead because someone who has true faith will do the works of Christ as a result. “But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?” (James 2:20)  They have rosaries with crucifixes and large statue crucifixes in the churches, but they completely miss the PURPOSE of Christ’s death. Jesus died to DELIVER us from sin and the very heart problem that leads us to it, but Catholicism PROMOTES SIN. It does not preach the gospel that produces saving faith, rege...

Examining Evangelical Climate Change Activism

Image
This post is an analysis of some climate change activism articles made by a couple of evangelical organizations. Seeing the rhetoric and persuasion that is used in worldly political sources also applied in proclaimed Christian media led me to write my observations and share them, for whomsoever it may cause to think for themselves free of the emotional manipulation and misapplication of scripture found in them. The Lord Jesus commanded His disciples to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves (Mat 10:16). In testing all things I have learned that the ungodly world powers are utilizing Christianity as a tool to enlarge their agendas to the maximum, including their plan to revolutionize the world under the guise of saving it from climate change. While reading the quotes, keep this word in mind: Rhetoric 1. Persuasive speech or writing (speech or writing that communicates its point persuasively). 2. Pretentious words (complex or elaborate language that only succeeds in sounding pretentio...

God Loves Us As Himself

Image
Matthew 22:37-40  "Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.  On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” Matthew 7:12   "Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets." When Christ commands us to love one another as ourselves, it means that He wants us to mind the souls and welfare of others as though they were indeed ourselves. To do something in their favor is to benefit yourself, not literally, but in the sense that you delight to benefit them because you see yourself in them. And you may do so even if it is at your own loss, because your loss is to you as gain if the other person has gained. It’s like a kind of oneness, although that more so applies amongst believers in Chri...

The True Gospel - Welcome

Image
Greetings! I'm Thalia, a believer and follower of the Son of God Jesus Christ.  It's All About Jesus The purpose for this site is first and foremost to glorify the Most High God by lifting up the truth of Jesus Christ and His word. I will contend for the faith once delivered to the saints (Jude 3), because faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. By faith in Jesus we can have eternal life, which He defined for us:  "And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent. " (John 17:3) The most important thing in our lives is to KNOW the true God and Savior Jesus Christ, the one who made us and loves us, which we can do by reading His preserved word in the Bible.  His word is the only objective truth.  He has spoken to us most directly through His Son Jesus because everything He said came directly from the Father, and so we ought to give the most earnest attention to every word of His doctrine. The ...

Jesus Christ Is God

Image
Jesus Christ Is God Jesus Christ is the everlasting God, equal with the Father. This is not a comprehensive study but a reference guide of scriptures from the whole Bible that show Jesus of Nazareth is the Son of God and equal to the Heavenly Father. He is distinct from Him as the Son, but yet they are one. And Jesus was not created. He is the eternal Creator, and in Him dwells all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. Let every word be established in the mouth of two or three witnesses. Prepare yourself to see the glory.   Note about Jesus NT verses about Christ OT verses about Christ Verses about God the Father Extra references He is the Creator John 1:3, 10; Col 1:16-19; Heb 1:2, 10 Isa 40:28, 42:5 43:15, 44:24 45:18 Rev 4:10-11 (*cross ref Col 1:16), Gen 1:1 (*cross ref John 1:1) He is the Word with God in the beginning John 1:1-2, 14; 1 John 1:1-2; Rev 19:13 Gen 1:1 He is the eternal God, and everlasting life 1 John 5:20 Isa 9:6 Isa 40:28, 57:15 1 John 1:2, 5:11; Heb 13:8 He is G...
